Talk to us about a terrace or semi roof

Call and describe what you are seeing

(02) 8000 1103

If water is coming through a ceiling right now, call rather than filling in a form. Say where it is appearing, how fast, and whether it is anywhere near a light fitting or a ceiling fan — that is what decides how urgently someone needs to be there.

Or send the details through

Use the quote form on this page. It takes a minute and goes straight through. Include your suburb, because on Inner West housing the suburb tells us a lot before anyone has seen the roof.

What helps us help you faster

A few things that genuinely shorten the process:

• Roof type if you know it — slate, terracotta tile, concrete tile, metal sheet, or a mix
• Terrace, semi or freestanding, and single or two storey
• Where the water is appearing inside, and whether it is constant or only in certain weather
• Whether there is side access, a rear lane, or only the footpath
• Photos of the stain, the ceiling, or anything visible from a window or an upstairs neighbour
• Whether you are making an insurance claim, so the documentation is prepared correctly from the start

None of it is essential. A phone call with none of the above is a perfectly good start.

What happens next

A free inspection is arranged. Someone gets onto the roof where that can be done safely, into the roof cavity where it helps, and uses aerial imagery for box gutters and parapets that cannot be reached on foot. You get a plain explanation with photographs, then a written, itemised quote that includes access and scaffolding rather than hiding them.

No obligation either way. If the answer is that your roof is fine and the leak is a plumbing problem, that is what you will be told.
